To further enhance the quality and efficiency of preparations for the 2026 China-Germany (Europe) Hidden Champions Forum, a special seminar was recently convened at the Shunyi District Bureau of Economy and Information Technology. Representatives from the District Commerce Bureau, the DEZ German-European SMEs China Cooperation Center, Capital Exhibition (Group) Co., Ltd., China Trade Global International Conference (Beijing) Co., Ltd., Beijing Zhonghongtian International Exhibition Co., Ltd., CMC International Exhibition Co., Ltd., and Beijing Pico Exhibition & Display Co., Ltd., among other exhibition enterprises, attended the meeting. They engaged in in-depth exchanges on forum preparations and jointly explored pathways for improvement.
The seminar focused on topics such as organizing the forum in an intensive and efficient manner and strengthening the forum’s effectiveness in "promoting industry through conferences." Leveraging their respective resource advantages, participating units offered targeted suggestions on agenda optimization, resource coordination, and outcome translation.
China-Germany (Europe) Hidden Champions Forum
The China-Germany (Europe) Hidden Champions Forum is a significant international exchange platform initiated by Shunyi District in collaboration with the International Cooperation Center of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and the European Economic Senate, with joint support from the NDRC and the Beijing Municipal Government. Serving as a crucial link for industrial cooperation between China and Germany (Europe), the forum has been held successfully twice since its launch in Shunyi in 2024. Committed to the principle of "specialization, excellence, and tangible results," the forum focuses on the development needs of German (European) hidden champions and innovative enterprises, gradually evolving into a high-quality platform for deepening industrial alignment and facilitating practical cooperation between Chinese and German (European) businesses.
This seminar gathered diverse insights, pooling practical ideas and providing essential support for the forum’s preparations. In the next steps, the suggestions will be systematically reviewed and incorporated to efficiently advance all preparatory tasks, laying a solid foundation for the successful hosting of the 2026 forum.
