On August 28, the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee (Information Office of the Beijing Municipal People's Government) held the 9th session of the series of themed press conferences for "Celebrating the 75th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China" — the special session for Shunyi District. Ye Chang, Director of the Foreign Press Division of the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee, presided over the conference. Principal responsible comrades and relevant responsible comrades of the Shunyi District Government introduced the situation and answered questions from reporters.

Cui Xiaohao, Deputy Secretary of the CPC Shunyi District Committee and District Governor of Shunyi District, introduced the overall situation of high-quality development in Shunyi District:

In recent years, under the strong leadership of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and the Beijing Municipal People's Government, Shunyi District has always adhered to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, fully implemented the spirits of the 20th National Congress of the CPC and the 2nd and 3rd Plenary Sessions of the 20th CPC Central Committee, adhered to the general principle of pursuing progress while ensuring stability, actively promoted the high-quality economic and social development of the region, and strived to write a new chapter of Shunyi's practice in Chinese-style modernization.

Last year, the gross regional product of the whole district reached 220.3 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 7%; the local general public budget revenue completed was 17.5 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 3.5%. Both the total economic output and fiscal revenue remained among the top 5 in Beijing; the total industrial output value ranked firmly among the top 3 in Beijing; the growth rate of per capita disposable income of residents ranked 3rd in Beijing. Among them, the per capita disposable income of rural residents exceeded 40,000 yuan for the first time, ranking first in Beijing. Since the beginning of this year, the growth rates of key indicators such as gross regional product, total industrial output value, and fixed asset investment have continued to remain at the forefront of Beijing. The regional economy has generally recovered and improved, various undertakings have advanced steadily, and the foundation for high-quality development has been further consolidated.

We have focused on doing a good job in the following aspects:

1. Focus on Cultivating and Developing New Quality Productive Forces, and Accelerate the Construction of a Modern Industrial System with Shunyi Characteristics

We focus on the "3+3" overall layout to build a main position for Beijing's high-end and sophisticated industries. The first "3" here refers to the three leading industries of "new energy intelligent vehicles, third-generation semiconductors, and aerospace":

- In the field of new energy intelligent vehicles: It has gathered 4 whole-vehicle enterprises (Li Auto, Beijing Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz New Energy, and BAIC Off-Road Vehicles) and more than 150 upstream and downstream enterprises. In the first half of this year, the output value of the automobile industry in the district increased by 70% year-on-year, and the expansion project of the L4 Autonomous Driving Demonstration Zone 3.0 is about to be put into operation.

- In the field of third-generation semiconductors: It has gathered 27 leading enterprises (such as Guolian Wanzheng, Techtronic, and ReneSola Semiconductor), and has been successfully selected into the national-level characteristic industrial cluster for small and medium-sized enterprises. A complete industrial chain layout from equipment to materials, chips, modules, packaging and testing, and downstream applications has been initially formed, and efforts are being made to build a third-generation semiconductor industrial agglomeration area with strong influence in China.

- In the field of aerospace: Relying on the AVIC Industrial Park and the Aerospace Industrial Park, it has actively undertaken resources from central enterprises and served the national strategy. At present, there are 14 key projects under construction, and the industrial output value in the first half of this year increased by 13% year-on-year.

The second "3" refers to the three emerging industries of "pharmaceutical and health, intelligent equipment, and new-generation information technology":

- In the field of pharmaceutical and health: It has gathered more than 110 regulated enterprises and institutions, with an industrial scale of nearly 60 billion yuan, forming an industrial cluster featuring pharmaceutical manufacturing and cross-border pharmaceutical trade.

- In the field of intelligent equipment: It has gathered 84 regulated enterprises (such as Beijing No.1 Machine Tool and Tianma Intelligent Control), covering all 12 categories
