Recently, the Beijing Sino-German Industrial Park held a symposium with the Beijing Representative Office of the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) to discuss cooperation in the field of intelligent and connected new energy vehicles (ICVs and NEVs).
During the symposium, Zhang Shuo, Chief Representative of ACEA Beijing Representative Office, systematically introduced the technological R&D progress and market development status of Europe's ICV and NEV industries, providing an in-depth analysis of the opportunities and challenges faced by European companies in expanding into international markets. Both parties agreed that in the field of ICVs and NEVs, China's market scale and Europe's technological advantages are complementary and mutually reinforcing, offering broad prospects for collaboration.
Subsequently, the two sides discussed plans for the 2025 Sino-German (European) Hidden Champions Forum—ICV and NEV Industry Thematic Event. Themed "Smart Driving, Green Mobility," the event will focus on core issues such as technological innovation, industrial synergy, and market development in the ICV and NEV sector. Through diverse activities, it aims to promote in-depth cooperation between Chinese and German (European) industries. Currently, the Beijing Sino-German Industrial Park has established a joint working mechanism with ACEA Beijing Representative Office to fully commence preparations for the event, fostering deeper mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Germany (Europe) in the ICV and NEV field.
Moving forward, the Beijing Sino-German Industrial Park will continue to deepen its collaboration with ACEA Beijing Representative Office, accelerate preparations for the automotive thematic event, and take practical measures to attract more German and European automakers and R&D institutions to settle in the park, promoting higher-level development of the ICV and NEV industry.
