"Gathering Wisdom from China and Germany, Leading the Future" Promotion and Roadshow Event for Beijing Sino-German Economic and Technological Cooperation Pilot Demonstration Zone Successfully Held

On July 17, the promotion and roadshow event for the Beijing Sino-German Economic and Technological Cooperation Pilot Demonstration Zone, themed "Gathering Wisdom from China and Germany, Leading the Future," was successfully held during the third China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE). The event highlighted the development potential and industrial capacity of the Sino-German Demonstration Zone, attracting numerous representatives from upstream and downstream enterprises in the Sino-German (European) industrial chain. It provided a platform for deepening economic and technological cooperation between China and Germany.

The event showcased the locational advantages, industrial ecosystem, and policy support system of the Sino-German Demonstration Zone. It particularly highlighted the progress of the Beijing Sino-German Industrial Park's High-End Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Center (Sino-German Phase II) project and introduced the functional positioning and development prospects of the Sino-German (European) Industrial Acceleration Base.

Subsequently, Rhein-Koster (Beijing) Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd., a company within the Sino-German Demonstration Zone, shared its innovative practices and achievements in industry-education integration and Sino-German cooperation, emphasizing its core competitive advantages and future development plans.

The High-End Intelligent Equipment Manufacturing Center (Sino-German Phase II) of the Beijing Sino-German Industrial Park is adjacent to the Sino-German Building and is positioned as an international, overseas-like space. With a total investment of 600 million yuan and a total construction area of approximately 65,000 square meters, the project includes R&D-oriented production facilities and commercial supporting infrastructure. It will host international organizations, incubate small and medium-sized enterprises with Sino-German (European) cooperation backgrounds, and provide pilot testing functions for new technologies and products. In the future, it will become a high-quality development platform聚集 (gathering) new quality productive forces in high-end equipment, intelligent manufacturing, biomedicine, and the digital economy. Currently, the project has entered the main structural construction phase and is planned to commence operations in 2027.

The Sino-German (European) Industrial Acceleration Base project, located in the southern area of the Sino-German Demonstration Zone, is designed with German industrial design concepts to create high-quality office and R&D spaces. In the future, it will focus on key areas of the Sino-German Demonstration Zone, adopting a tripartite operational model of "space carrier + industrial services + capital empowerment" to accommodate German and European enterprises, business associations, and tech startups. The project has completed its design phase and is expected to be officially operational by the end of 2025.

This roadshow event at the CISCE provided the Sino-German Demonstration Zone with a platform to showcase its regional development advantages and cooperation prospects. Moving forward, the Sino-German Demonstration Zone will continue to optimize its business environment, deepen industrial cooperation with Germany and Europe in areas such as intelligent and connected new energy vehicles and intelligent manufacturing, promote the efficient integration of industrial and supply chains, and create a new高地 (high ground) for international cooperation between China and Germany (Europe).
