A delegation led by Claudia Barkowsky, Chief Representative of the Beijing Office of German Mechanical Engineering Industry Association (VDMA, Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau) and Wen Bin, Deputy General Manager of VDMA (Beijing) Business Consulting visited the Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park on Aug 10. Deputy director of the Industrial Park’s management committee Guo Mingming welcomed the delegation and accompanied their visit.

The delegation visited the representative projects in the Industrial Park - Bosch Rexroth Industry 4.0 Innovation Center and China Regional Operational Headquarters of Rhein-Koester, getting to know their engagements in assisting manufacturing enterprises in Beijing in digital transformation, common technology research and development, digital talent training, and localization and innovation of the "dual system" of vocational education.

At the meeting, Guo introduced in details of the advantages of the Park in resources and policy and future development plan. Acknowledging and appreciating the achievements since the establishment of the Park, Barkowsky and Wen expressed their hope of further deepening the cooperation with the Park and promoting the landing of high-quality projects of VDMA in the Park for a better future.
