Lan Xiongjing, director of Shunyi District Economy and Information Technology Bureau, gave a keynote speech on "China-Germany Industrial Cooperation and Development Opportunities for Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park" at the German Enterprise Policy Interpretation Conference on June 23, 2021. Lan talked about the development opportunities and potential for Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park with German companies from four aspects, including a general overview of Shunyi, investment opportunities, industrial support policies, and the development platform of the industrial park.

The event was hosted the German Chamber of Commerce in China. Officials from Beijing Investment Promotion Service Center and the "Two Zones" Office of the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce did policy interpretation. The event was attended by nearly 30 German companies including Siemens, Volkswagen Group (China), Porsche (China), Fraunhofer Representative Office Beijing, Deutsche Telekom, Baden-Württemberg Bank and Wilo (China).

After the meeting, Lan Xiongjing, director of the Economic and Information Technology Bureau of Shunyi District, Zhu Guangnan, director of the Manufacturing Innovation and Development Promotion Center of Shunyi, and Chen Yuanfang, international cooperation director of Tusholdings China-Germany Industrial Park Operation Company conducted in-depth communication with representatives of participating companies.

In the future, Shunyi district will actively promote the cooperation with German-funded enterprises and institutions, and attract more high-quality resources to gather in Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park.
