“Investing in Beijing” International Promotion on Beijing "Two Zones" Opening-up Policy, Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park-Munich Special Session was held via online and offline meetings in Beijing and Munich on November 26.


Representatives from listed companies, headquarters companies, multinational companies in the field of German high-end services, as well as 30 professional service companies in the fields of legal services, technological innovation, and financial services, discussed with officials of the Beijing "Two Zones" Office, the Municipal Government of Shunyi District, Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park, as well as delegates of German-funded enterprises in Beijing, under the theme of the new opportunities for China-Germany cooperation during Beijing's "Two Zones" construction.



Liu Meiying, deputy director of the Beijing "Two Zones" Office, and Stefan Geiger, executive chairman of the Bavarian China-Germany Economic and Cultural Association, delivered speeches at the promotion meeting. Yang Pengbo, deputy director of the "Two Zones" Office of Shunyi District, Dong Hao, director of the Manufacturing Innovation Development Promotion Center of the Shunyi District Economy and Information Technology Bureau, and other officials attended the meeting. The operation company Tusholdings of Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park, China-Germany Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Association, and German companies in Shunyi such as Rosenberg and Sartorius also attended the event. The liaison offices of Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park in Berlin, Munich and Frankfurt participated in the conference online.



During the meeting, Li Haisong, executive general manager of Tusholdings China-Germany Industrial Park Operation Company, gave a detailed introduction on the advantages of the industrial park such as industrial direction, development space, and internationalized supporting facilities. Li also shared the support and guarantee policies of the industrial park in talent recruitment and technological innovation. He welcomes German and European companies to invest and start business in Beijing China-Germany Industrial Park.


Peter Konegen, general manager of German Rhein-koster Co, talked about three core businesses including intelligent equipment R&D and industrial services, the development of China-Germany intelligent manufacturing talent training system under the influence of German dual education, and the integration service platform for industry and education between China and Germany. He said Rhein-koster would like to contribute to the regional integration of industry and education in terms of talent training, investment attraction, scientific research output, and urban innovation. He said he hopes to further strengthen the cooperation and exchanges with the German enterprises in Beijing, and help the industrial park to be a gathering place for advanced manufacturing industries.
