German industry production in February rose 0.2 percent month-on-month after adjustments on price, seasons and workdays, according to data published by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) on April 7.
The data showed that the German construction industry output fell by 0.7 percent month-on-month in February, and the energy sector saw a significant expansion of 4.9 percent. Excluding energy and construction sectors, the industrial output rose 0.1 percent month-on-month.
Moreover, Destatis adjusted the month-on-month increase in industrial output in January to 1.4 percent from the initial 2.7 percent.
